This fund was started in 2005 in memory of our first-born son, JohnCarlo Hudson Thrush. His life was cut short January 25th, 2005 at the age of 9 weeks and 6 days. His cause of death was due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) http://www.anybabycansa.org/sids_info.htm, a rare disorder that affects infants usually through 1 year of age. SIDS makes up the largest component of sudden unexpected infant death in the United States. However, SIDS is just one cause of infant death. Sadly children die daily in our community. We have come to realize that many families are in great need of funeral assistance for their children. In times such as these many families are forced to rely on suboptimal services for their loved ones.
